ABOUT
KYODO COMMUNICATIONS & ELECTRONICS INC.

Kyodo Communications and
Electronics, Inc (Kyodo C&E) was founded by Mr. Tagami Sr. over 60 years
ago when he began the design and manufacture of reliable, high quality
communications equipment. The son and
current president, Mr. Y. Tagami, have continued the family tradition of pride
in excellence and search for perfection into the 21st century.
Kyodo products are marketed
throughout the world to customers that demand reliability and will not
compromise. This exposure to a very
wide range of user demands has resulted in a product line that is extremely
versatile with universal features and applications.
The line is made up of a few
models with a wide range of features to cover nearly all user requirements
rather than many different models to address many different needs.
Parts, features and software are
similar across the model lines. This
contributes to user familiarity in operation and servicing. We do not have a low cost “cheap” radio and
a high cost “good” radio, we have a medium cost, excellent radio.
Existing products are perfected by
close monitoring of quality in the factory and in the field. These products are constantly updated with
new manufacturing techniques, test procedures, latest devices, additional
features and revised firmware and software to meet the latest in user
requirements.
When a product has fully matured
and the changing marketplace dictates a new design, a very unique approach is
taken to this “new” design. The most
reliable source of design data is our existing product. This accumulated history of experience is
added to new ideas and techniques to become the starting point for the future
development. New concepts are used only
if they help meet the users needs. The
idea of using a new concept just because it is new prevents us from truly
addressing customer needs. All new
features are fully evaluated and tested before release to the market.
Kyodo Communications and
Electronics strives to keep the same employees year after year to take full
advantage of their experience and company loyalty. This is our first step toward a smooth, efficient operation. The ability to use the same staff that
designed and built the previous product, to develop the next new product
contributes to the carryover of ideas discussed above. Employees are periodically given training on
the latest techniques in their line of work to keep them at the cutting of the
industry. Similarly, new employees are
educated on the principles that have made Kyodo a success. This integration of manpower and technology
is a great force in achieving the highest degree of perfection in our products.
Our efforts are supported by a
full financial management and clerical staff.
